Team chat

For sales In a group, one to one, or on a company's record. Files, images, GIFs and emoji can go too.

Sales
Today

This is how Team chat looks in your account, and the same on your phone. We cover the names and the company names with a bar.

How the team fits in one place

There are three kinds of conversation, and all three open in the same account as the records, the tasks and the campaigns.

A room for the team

You open a room for the sales team, the events team, or anyone working a shared case, give it a name, and from then on the day-to-day talk happens there, GIFs and emoji included when that is what you need.

On your desktop it comes down to this: in the New chat row you pick the colleagues, give the group a name, and click Create.

One to one

You write to one colleague, quick and short, the way you would catch them in the corridor, no one else sees it, and the conversation stays under Direct messages so you can find it again later.

On your desktop, pick a name and press Start conversation.

Under a company's name

Whatever is said about a target company belongs under that company's name, so that whoever picks it up next finds the message, the image and the file in the same place, without any of it having become a task or a touch.

On your desktop, the company's record, where the conversation opens with one button, and it waits for you afterwards under Record chats.

How a mention reaches your phone

If you have installed Trendizz on your phone, a mention reaches you even when the app is closed, and a tap takes you into the same conversation.

I'd leave Thursday's demo to you, you know their machines best.
  1. A colleague types your name with an @, and the name becomes a chip in the message.
  2. The mention pulls you into the conversation, so from then on you can see it, even if you were not in it before.
  3. A push notification appears on your phone in your own language, with the sender's name and the start of the message.
  4. A tap opens the same conversation, and you can carry on where your colleague left off.

A push goes out only for a mention. Every other message is gathered by the app's bell and the daily email summary, so your phone is not buzzing all day.

Why this is good for you

No separate chat app needed

The conversation sits where the records, the tasks and the campaigns are, behind a single login, and a new colleague does not have to register anywhere else, because after the invitation you only have to bring them into the team's room.

Whatever is said about a company stays with the company

The conversation under the company's name is kept, files and all, so whoever takes the case up six months later reads in the same place what happened on the phone or in the corridor, the part that never made it into a letter.

The group boundary holds here too

You can only bring into a room someone the invitation can reach, so a group leader's room stays with their own team, and nothing about another group's affairs leaks across here either.

It is on your phone too

You put Trendizz on your phone as an app, and when a colleague mentions you, your phone lets you know, even when the app is closed, so even right before a demo you miss nothing the team has left in your hands.

Where Apex stays out

Apex neither sees into this conversation nor speaks into it, so what goes here is what colleagues say to each other, quick and in a human voice, sometimes just a GIF. Whatever needs following up you tell Apex, and it lands on the record as a touch or a task, while the chat stays chat.
