Account owner unreachable?
Your company's Trendizz account is managed by its Superusers. If the person who opened the account no longer works with you or cannot be reached, the account stays with the company: the company takes it over itself.
If your company has another Superuser
Ask them to give the Superuser role in Team management to the person taking over the account. The new Superuser can then deactivate the former colleague's account and hand over their work.
Only a Superuser can give or remove the Superuser role. The company's last Superuser is protected: their role can only be changed, or their account deactivated, if there is another Superuser alongside them. A user's own account is always deactivated by another administrator.
If not: with the old company address
The account belongs to the company, and the company manages its own mailboxes. Whoever reads the letters arriving at the old address can sign in with it.
- The company manages the old address. The former colleague's mailbox is on the company's own domain. The company's system administrator can restore it, or redirect it to another mailbox.
- Sign in with the old address. Use the Sign in button on trendizz.com to request a sign-in code for this address, then enter it. Signing in takes only the code; there is no password. Sign in
- Handing over the role. In Team management, open the new colleague's record and set them to Superuser in the Role view. If the new colleague is not yet a member of the team, first invite them with the Invite button.
- Deactivating the old account, with handover. The new Superuser, signed in with their own account, deactivates the old account in the Status view of the former colleague's record. If the former colleague was responsible for senders, this is where they choose who takes those senders over. Apex hands over the company records and the tasks if you ask for it in the conversation.
If the old mailbox cannot be restored
Write to [email protected] and tell us the company's name, the former colleague's address and who we should hand the account over to.
