Export
The work happens in Trendizz, with Apex. There are two cases in which you can download company data: the companies that responded positively, for your own records, and a postal campaign's addresses, for posting the letters. Both as CSV and Excel, with Apex Start or a larger plan.
Positive responders
A positive responder is a company that replied to a letter with interest, that you logged a call with a positive outcome for, or that you marked as Won. Apex puts together a file of them for your own CRM.
- What happens
- Apex counts the positive responders and shows what got them in: letter, call or Won. It puts a card in the conversation with the count, what is in the file and what is not, and the CSV and Excel buttons. The file is created when you click: the companies' contact details, their contact persons, and your data, such as the sales status, notes, calls, and the subject and date of the correspondence. One row is one contact person, so the file can be loaded into the CRM in one step.
- Where it shows
- In the chat, on Apex's card. You can also start the same thing under Export in the account menu, with the New export button.
You may use the file for your own sales and in your own CRM, and contact these companies. Passing it on, selling it or building a company database from it is not allowed (Terms and Conditions, section 7.3 b). Every export and download is logged.
- What happens
- After the first export, the card and the New export window offer two scopes: only new since the last export, or all. Each shows the count and the date of the last export, so only the new companies go into the CRM.
- Where it shows
- On Apex's card and in the New export window, under Which companies.
- What happens
- Apex records the call with an interested outcome for this one company, or, if they have already ordered, marks it as Won; you can also do this on the record yourself. From then on the company counts as a positive responder and is included in the next export.
- Where it shows
- On the company's record, on the Touches tab, or at its status.
The call outcome and Won can be recorded per company, one at a time: these are facts about a single company.
My exports
Every export is a snapshot: we store the file encrypted for 30 days, and until then you can download the same file again.
- What happens
- Export in the account menu opens the My exports page. There each export is a row: when it was made, who made it, how many companies it contains, whether it holds only the new ones or all of them, and when it will be deleted. You can download your own export again as CSV or Excel. For fresh data, create a new export.
- Where it shows
- Under Export in the account menu, on the My exports page.
Only the person who created an export can download it. The company's Superuser also sees colleagues' exports on the page (who, when, how many companies), but not their files. After 30 days the file is deleted; the log remains.
Postal addresses
Postal addresses come from a postal campaign, for posting the letters. The postal campaign recipes are in the Campaigns topic.
- What happens
- Apex exports the postal campaign's companies as CSV or Excel: one row per company, with the company's name, the recipient's name if known, and the postal address. You can also choose only the companies not yet exported, so companies added to the campaign later go into a separate file. The export also appears on the My exports page.
- Where it shows
- In the chat, on Apex's card; on the postal campaign's page, with the Export addresses button; and under Export in the account menu, by choosing Postal addresses.
What stays in Trendizz
Apex's analyses, reasoning, classifications and scores stay in Trendizz; they are Apex's work. You can copy any single company's contact details into your own records at any time.
- What happens
- Apex tells you what you can download: the positive responders and the postal campaign's addresses. Apex works on the companies you get: it selects, analyses and contacts them, so this work continues in Trendizz.
- Where it shows
- In the chat, in Apex's answer.
Export is part of Apex Start and the larger plans.
- What happens
- The colleague making the calls works in Trendizz, with their own user and Apex Start or a larger plan. Apex tags the callable companies and gives the colleague a call task for each one, so they see them among their own tasks, together with the company's record.
- Where it shows
- In the chat, on the approval card; the colleague sees the companies under Tasks.
Good to know
The decision is always yours
Wherever approval is needed, Apex shows the card, and only carries it out after you click.
It only works from what it has
Apex tells you what's on the record and in the correspondence. If there's no data on something, it says so.
Another team's company
If another team within your company is working with a company, Apex flags it as taken, and doesn't say who's handling it.
In your own words
You can write to Apex in your own words. The example prompts work verbatim too, but it understands your own phrasing just as well.
